With a flight duration of around 14 hours from Australia to Dubai, the thought of visiting this United Arab Emirates city may feel more than a little daunting, but be sure to know, it is worth the effort.

Dubai is a highly popular city, which is renowned for its party scene and of course, extremely indulgent shopping facilities. There are, of courses, loads more and your choice will depend on what kind of night you are looking for. Dubai does offer something for everyone though, so you won’t be disappointed.

There are many popular sights and landmarks in Dubai, which you should make a point of seeing if you visit this spectacular city. It is probably impossible to see them all, unless you have a few weeks to spare but if you are just visiting for a short time, these are the ones worth putting at the top of your agenda. Make sure you take your camera with you to these Dubai landmarks, as you will most definitely need it!

Dubai Foundations

One such landmark is the Dubai Foundations, which is similar to the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas. With performances every 30 minutes, the Dubai Foundations are dancing water jets, which are beautifully choreographed to an enjoyable composition.

Burj Khalifa

Another popular landmark in Dubai is the Burj Khalifa, which, at 830m tall, is the tallest building in the world. You better take a full wallet with you to this one, as you can expect to pay some hefty prices for afternoon tea, but it is well worth it to really soak up the culture and of course, enjoy the stunning views.

Burj Al Arab

Another sought afternoon choice in Dubai landmarks, Burj Arab is a venue where you can enjoy afternoon tea, along with more amazing views of the Dubai city. You can expect delicious food and a tour of the building, if desired. The service is impressive and you will be sure to have an outstanding overall experience here.
