The Bur Dubai is the ‘Old’ Dubai where travelers can find The Souks, The Dubai Museum, the Olod villages and houses along the Promenade and the Meena Bazaar.
The area of Deira can be reached by dhow (boat), which is nearby Bur Dubai. The sites to be seen here include The Spice Souk, The Gold Souk, Karama that showcases the Asian aspect of the city, Burjuman Mall and the Festival City mall.
Downtown Dubai is where the modern side of Dubai takes place. It is the home to the big hotel chains and office skyscrapers. The foremost of all skyscrapers in the world, the Burj Khalifa is found here together with the beautiful Dubai Fountains. For shopping, there is the Dubai Mall.

Lastly, there is the Dubai Marina, which is another advanced and modern side of Dubai but still in the development stage. The Palm Jumeira, Ski Dubai, The Atlantis and The Lost Chamber Aquarium are all tourist attractions that are known to be topnotch spots for tourist from all over the world. The Dubai Marina is also a shopping haven as it is home to few of the biggest malls in the city namely: Festival City Mall, Mall of Emirates and the Ibn Batuta Mall, which are all points of interest of the place.
