Overview
The Dubai Mall is touted to become the largest mall in the world upon completion in late 2008. The mall probably is the most ambitious segment of Emaar Properties’ projects after the Burj Dubai tower.
Out of Dubai Mall’s 5.6 million sq. ft. of retail space, 3.8 million sq. ft. has been earmarked as leasable property. The mall is intended to house 1,200 shops in about 10 to 15 distinctive arcades (or 'malls-within-a-mall').
Location
Dubai Mall is located at the centre of Downtown Burj Dubai.
